Initiatives to Eliminate Food Loss
We are conducting investigations into extending the shelf life of all our products.
The Quality Control Department performs quality tests, and for those that pass the
examination, we extend their expiration dates, enabling us to sell them for a longer
period.
Furthermore, we propose the versatile use of a wide range of products to encourage
their complete utilization and reduce food waste resulting from disposal.

Inheriting Technology Through Technical Intern Trainees
Since May 2012, Fine Japan has been accepting technical interns, and currently, we
have over 30 interns from Vietnam and Indonesia who are constantly refining their
skills.
Our goal is to have these interns acquire valuable skills and knowledge during their
training, which they can take back to their home countries and contribute to their
economic development. To achieve this, we are actively supporting their efforts in
obtaining relevant qualifications through technical internships.

【Creation】 Initiatives in Product Design
Development of Environmentally Friendly Products
As part of our consideration for the Earth’s environment, we have taken several
measures to minimize our environmental impact. These include the adoption of
vegetable oil-based ink for printing on packaging boxes and the production of
packaging at FSC-certified facilities.
Moreover, we have started utilizing packaging materials made from biomass plastics
to further reduce our environmental footprint. These initiatives demonstrate our
dedication to environmental consideration and sustainability in our product
development practices.

Promotion of Paperless Initiatives
While paper-based management has been our primary approach in the past, we are now actively replacing documents that can be digitized with data storage. Furthermore, we are making efforts to reduce paper-based management by replacing traditional fax communication with web-based exchanges between companies. This move not only reduces paper usage but also streamlines communication processes, contributing to a more eco-friendly and modern approach to business interactions.

【Preservation】 Corporate Initiatives
Based on our management philosophy, we are united and seeking both physical and material happiness for all employees.
As part of our efforts, we have set a target to achieve an average employee
satisfaction rate of 70% by the year 2030.
Internally, we have established committees to identify areas that need improvement,
and we will actively implement initiatives to enhance overall employee satisfaction.
By prioritizing the happiness and contentment of our employees, we aim to create
a positive and fulfilling work environment that fosters productivity and ensures the
well-being of everyone involved.
